What is a protected title?
Each of the professions that we regulate has one or more 'protected titles'. Protected titles include titles like 'dietitian' or 'physiotherapist'. Only those on the HPC Register can legally use one of these titles. If you use a professional who is not registered, you risk being treated by someone who does not meet national standards.
